INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Rib cage injuries tend to be very painful and not much can be done to treat them.
- Injuries to the ribs, associated muscles groups and ligaments normally heal themselves over time, although during the recovery period, a simple task such as breathing can be an unpleasant experience.
- Hard breathing, sneezing or yawning can be traumatic experiences due to sudden rib movement.
- By applying the rib belt across the chest area, we stabilize the ribs and help to eliminate unnecessary movement.
- To apply the belt, simply wrap it around the chest area, starting immediately below the arm pits.
- To make sure you have the belt applied correctly, the elastic segment at mid back should be such that the widest end is on top.
- Close the hook & loop closures in front for a firm fit. Short tidy breaths ensure your greatest comfort.
- Be sure to position the rib belt around the rib cage.
