- Cross the straps at mid back and pull HARD to tighten until you feel your shoulders being pulled back and that your back is in a good posture position.
- Only then close the hook and loop tape at front of body, keeping even pressure across the whole brace.
- Apply with mild to firm compression so that in a relaxed position the shoulders are gently pulled back.
- The brace achieves a subtle effect in that the patient can still round the shoulders, although when they relax they are pulled back into an improved posture position.
- Once closed adjust the brace for any pressure areas.
- Use the size table only as a guide.
- If you feel more comfortable in a larger or smaller size, then that’s the one for you. Everyone is different!
- The single most important factor is that you feel comfortable when wearing the brace.
- Strengthening your back muscles with specific exercises can aid the posture correction process.
- WE RECOMMEND wearing your posture strap from 30 minutes each day, to gradually increasing the time worn for up to 2-3 hours per day.
- The Posture strap will guide your body’s to gradually correct and adjust your any bad postural habits and over time your body will learn to naturally rest in a healthier natural posture position.
