COLD THERAPY.

Cold therapy works by reducing blood flow to a particular area.

HEAT THERAPY

Heat therapy works by improving circulation and blood flow over the area where it has been applied.

How to Use

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

COLD USE

As a cold compress use to soothe muscles.
For cold therapy place mitten in a freezer bag for at least two hours in a deep freeze.
Then apply.
This is a fantastic solution for sports people, workers and for applies equally well to numerous medical applications.
Completely washable and hygienic.
Ideally we suggest to keep a gel pack in the freezer until you need it.
Gel packs are usually applied to an injured or sore area at least 3 times a day for as long as you have pain, swelling, and inflammation.
In the first 72 hours, it is recommended to ice for 10 minutes, once an hour.

HOT USE

MICROWAVE METHOD

As a hot compress use to relax and alleviate tension.
Heating times are based on an 800W microwave.
Heat in a microwave for short bursts of 20 seconds until desired temperature is achieved.
Increase heat in 5 second bursts thereafter if needed.
Do not over heat.
To apply gently pull onto your hand and keep in place for approximately 15 minutes or until no longer desired.
Adjust heating times accordingly to suit the power of your microwave. It may take a few goes to get it right.
Always heat pack from room temperature - never from frozen.

Please pay close attention to these points.

If gel comes in contact with skin, wash the area immediately with soap and water.
If crystals become visible, throw away and do not apply to skin.
Always check the temperature before placing the sleeve against the skin.
Do not use on broken or insensitive skin.
For comfort and safety, use while seated or resting rather than walking, and follow the supplied cooling, warming and care instructions.
Don't make the pack too hot so as to risk burning yourself.
Medically, there is no advantage to anything more than gentle warmth.
Don’t heat the pack for more than 20 seconds at a time.
Short bursts are best.
To clean, wipe over with a damp cloth.
Do not submerge in water or machine wash.
This product is only suitable for external use.
Do not ingest contents.
If punctured, worn or damaged in any way please discard.
Do not apply over highly sensitive skin, open wounds or over people who cannot willingly remove the product is desired. Keep out of reach of pets and children.
For ideal storage dry well and reseal in the sealed bag for best results.
Store in a freezer to increase the life span of the product.
